And now with the introduction of the "Jointed" MCJ4700, the first safety light curtain with an elector-mechanical joint, Omron STI's 4700 series is revolutionary. Omron STI allows you to buy just what you need to buy. The MC4700, MCF4700, and MCJ4700 can be ordered with different object resolutions within a system. The various object resolutions within a and multi-segmented systems allow you to best fit the guarding to your application, and therefore you only pay for what you need.

Device Net Safety System

Introducing a Safety Network System that dramatically alters previous safety design. Programmable safety circuits are incorporated to facilitate efficient designing and for distributed allocation through the network. DeviceNet wiring on the existing network can be used as is, facilitating efficient design by expanding on the existing system. The programmability of safety circuits, expandability of I/O using the network, and compatibility with the DeviceNet open network effects major changes to the framework of previous safety design systems.

	Meets OSHA, Canadian, and worldwide standards for safeguarding personnel from moving machinery. Self-contained design with no control box. UL and CSA Listed. Beam spacing of 10 or 20 mm. Protective height ranges from 140 to 940 mm. Connect multiple units for a larger zone. M12 connectors.

F3S-B Safety Light Curtain
	Type 2 safety light curtain operates independently or as part of safety systems. Meets category 2, 1 or B. Official certification as Type 2 Electro--Sensitive Protective Equipment (ESPE). Units available with an axis pitch of 25 mm (hand protection) in protective heights from 300 mm to 1650 mm. M12 connectors.

F3SN-A Safety Light Curtain
	Programmable, Type 4 safety light curtain. Self-contained, no control box needed. Serial connectable. Small, space-saving profile. Indicator LEDs located directly on the emitter and receiver. Available in single beam increments. Meets ANSI / RIA, OSHA, IEC, EN standards.

F3G-C Laser Safety Area Scanner
	Increases safety by detecting workers to warn of proximity to dangerous area. Protects 300° area. Long-range sensing is provided up to a 6-m radius for the Protective Field and a 7.5-m radius for the Warning Field.

	Safety door lock switch uses special operation key to positively separate contacts. Features solenoid locking mechanism to keep door closed until signal is received from a device that the area is safe for workers to enter.

D4B-N Heavy-Duty Safety Limit Switch
	Heavy-duty limit switch features direct- drive contacts that insure contacts open when welded due to overload currents. Slow-action switches have positive opening contacts for wider electrical separation between contacts.

D4BS Safety Door Switch
	Safety door limit switch that uses special operation key to positively separate contacts. Low-cost, plastic body switch meets many European safety directives. Wide operating temperature range. UL, CSA approved.
